Lessons from 33,000 Years of Marriage

We just finished a great SPIN retreat with seven couples. I am getting back to work today and I came across a great article -- a great follow-up for all who have attended a SPIN retreat. A priest from Washington attended a marriage blessing event and he figured all the marriages represented at that event totaled about 33,000 years of combined married life. Praise God for all of those faithful marriages! But the best part of the the article is where he lists 12 tips that he learned over the years from the married couples he has ministered to as a priest.

Here is the article 33,000 years of marriage

I think my favorite tip in the list is number 5 -- what you feed grows -- feed the positive and let go of the mistakes and failures. Which of these tips do you find most helpful?
